It's a Boy!

Wow, I can't believe it took me this long to post, but I'd like to introduce the newest member of our family:

Charlie (Charles) Fredrick Knutson

8lbs 7oz

21 1/4 inches long

3:52 am March 6

Here he is minutes after birth. They put a hat on him and immediately put him on my chest. They didn't clean him up or do any measurements yet. You can't see his massive amounts of hair yet in this picture.

After about an hour, they took Charlie off my chest to do his measurements and medications. Here he is after all that was said and done.

We have a TON more pictures, including 1 of every person who visited Charlie thus far, but I think I'll save those for another day and another post. 

We are now home from the hospital and doing well. Charlie is a bit jaundice, so we've been going in for blood draws daily. Hopefully it clears up soon, and we can start our life as a family of 3. 

We want to thank all of our friends and family for their love and support the past 5 days as we've adjusted to our new roles as parents. It's going to be a crazy wonderful ride!
