We barely checked in, and our swimsuits were on! I got in, but after a while I decided to go up and get my camera to document the fun!
Here's Natalie giving the lily pads a try. She did a great job!
Harvey did a great job. He couldn't quite reach the rope to help him, so he just crawled across.
There are lots of kid friendly water slides.
There's also a lot of different water spaces around. Natalie enjoyed swimming around this floating log.
Harvey really liked the wave pool. I couldn't get his face, but Mindy said he was laughing and smiling every time a wave came up.
After we had pizza from Pizza Hut Express (there's a very long story about my Pizza Hut experience tonight. I'll spare you the details but give you some highlights. I stood there for over 30 minutes, I met a very nice lady from Woodbury, MN, Jon went out looking for me to make sure I was ok, and I walked at least a mile to get the pizza back to our hotel room!!!), the kids got in their pj's and we went to the lobby for spooky story time. Everything is Halloween themed right now...
There's the witch and Wolf reading our spooky story.
What a sweet family! We're all in our rooms for the night, so we can get a good night's sleep! I can't wait for Tony to join us tomorrow!
We're having an awesome time! New MEA tradition?! :)
ReplyDeleteSo who's having more fun...the kids or the adults?!
