Canal Park and Gooseberry

This afternoon, we returned from a very fun weekend in Duluth with our good friends, The Millers. Our trip began on Friday morning, when we met the Millers in Pine Island to take off around 8am. We made it to Duluth in record time, and hit up Canal Park Brewing Co. We had a delicious meal and some delicious micro-brews.

After lunch, we took a walk down to the bridge. Adam has never been in Duluth before, so this was all new to him.

The rocks were pretty slippery, so that kids found other things to climb around on a little more safely.

Josie and Charlie are pretty good buds. They held hands for a good chunk of our trip.

There were a few ice chunks in the canal, but not as many as I expected.

After we walked around Canal Park for a while, we headed up the road to Gooseberry Falls. Here we are in front of the upper falls.

After Gooseberry, we were all pretty darn exhausted, so we headed to the house we rented on the outside of Duluth.
