This past Tuesday was National Night Out 2012! Tony and I were asked to participate in Bethel's event for the evening. Our group, In Between, played a few songs for the crowd. Unfortunately, only 3 of us were available. This made me the only female vocalist--YIKES! That's a lot of pressure on someone who DESPISES solos! I stole some pictures off the Bethel Lutheran Church facebook page.
Here's Tony rocking out on the neat drumset. Note the facial hair--It will be gone this Sunday FINALLY after Camelot is all over.
I e-mailed Laur and Cher to see if they were interested in coming out for some free food and entertainment. This is the crew they scrounged up! The DJ even gave a shout out to Grandpa Bob for celebrating his 90th birthday! He might have turned tomato red...
Here's our little trio performing. Tony moved to the keyboard for one of the pieces. The other member of the trio is Michael. He's Bethel's Director of Christian Education. It's been so much fun getting to know him and his family.
In case you were wondering what our backsides look like, there we are!
