The Dress is Hemmed!

Today I went to pick up my dress from Renee Wilson! She did such a beautiful job hemming my dress and putting in a bustle. She even sewed a beautiful patch to the inside of my dress. Here it is:
Now to find someone to steam my dress.....I was told that steaming was included in the purchase of my dress, but now David's Bridal has informed me that since I had someone else alter it, they will not steam it. WONDERFUL! I'm not the happiest with them right now...So, if you know a steamer, let me know!

    Make them show you WHERE it says that someone else altering it voids the steaming agreement. Otherwise....LoJo Stitches in Byron is EXCELLENT...give her a call. :)

    I just gave up with David's Bridal. They were wonderful the day I bought my dress, but have been horrible ever since. I made the appointment at LoJo's. At least I think that's where it is. Mestad's suggested her!

    Mrs. Wilson did a beautiful job on your dress! Maybe as the M.O.B. I should have gone in with you to David's Bridal and given that store lady a piece of my mind, too.
