I have been lacking in the blogging department lately. This is mainly due to my homework overload. I am coming up to the end of the Winter Trimester at Augsburg, so I have many papers and projects to do. Anyways, here is the quick update of life in the TK Household:
I had my 14 year anniversary of my scoliosis surgery. I went into Mayo for a check-up, had x-rays and my fusion still looks great. My height has not changed one bit since March 16, 1998, which means my curve has stayed in place those 14 years! No more surgery in the near future!
Tony started rehearsals for South Pacific that will be running in May at The Rep Theater.
We had our first bonfire at our house. My brother Will joined us for the occasion. Luna was crying so loudly inside; so we brought her out as well! Thanks Jon and Mindy for the fabulous fire pit!
We celebrated St. Patrick's Day with my parents, Rob, Connor, Megan, Auntie Elinor, Marybeth, Norb, Will and Amanda. My mom made the traditional corned beef and cabbage. It's my favorite meal all year!
Luna has permanently been fixed to one of many windowsills in our home since we opened up the house for spring's early arrival.
Our tulips have begun to grow. We planted them last fall, but we weren't sure if they'd actually come up. They were clearance bulbs from Menards!
I don't think I mentioned that Tony has started college again. He is attending Walden University for a 2-year to Master's Nursing program with an emphasis on nursing informatics. If you have questions on nursing informatics, you'll have to ask him! I still don't quite understand that part...This program is completely online.
I have been battling a cold over the last week. It started with a sore throat, then I lost my voice, then I had uncontrollable coughing fits, and it ended with an earache and fever! I went in today, and I have a sinus infection. They gave me some meds and sent me on my way! Hopefully I'll be on the mend quickly!
Well there you have it! A long update on the TK Household!

Tony's first country experience!
Last November, I saw on Facebook that my absolute favorite group would be coming to the cities. I asked Tony if he would stomach some country for an evening. He said yes, and we booked our tickets. Thompson Square, Darius Rucker and Lady Antebellum for March 11!
He actually had a really good time! All three groups were fantastic! I would pay to see all of them again. I took a few videos of the event. My pictures did not turn out very well, since I have a little snapshot camera.

Darius made my life! He sang some oldies but goodies from back in his Hootie and the Blowfish days! I think I lost my voice from screaming so loud!
Thompson Square was only out there for about 15-20 minutes. That was a bummer because they put on a great show!
Here's Darius doing one of his country hits. That man is so talented. You may not be able to see some of his sweet footwork dance moves on this video, but it was entertaining at the show!
and the moment you all have been waiting for, Lady Antebellum!
Then, Lady A invited Thompson Square and Darius back out on the stage. There is one point in this video that I go to the annoying family in front of us. I wish I could've caught them being obnoxious, but I missed that part. You can hear them yelling at some points. It's too bad the daughters seem to be following in their parent's footsteps....On a lighter note, this song rocked!
Not the best picture of us, but the only one I captured!

Underwear drawer
Luna does silly things all the time, but I'm not usually able to capture them on film. However, yesterday when Tony and I were getting ready to go to LaCrosse, Luna climbed right in his underwear drawer and did not want to get out! She made a cozy little bed in there. Luckily, I had my camera nearby!
Paging Dr. Larson
Last night we celebrated the anniversary of my friend Dr. Larson's birth. He is now a whopping 26 years old. To celebrate, his girlfriend, the vegetarian (you may recognize her as one of my bridesmaids) allowed nice big New York strip steaks to be grilled at their home. While they were grilling, we played some Frisbee Golf and enjoyed the company of Torben's med school classmates. The excitement rose when Torben's brother Bjorn brought out the birthday cake his friend made. It is phenomenal! After cake, we headed to LaCrosse's finest downtown establishments where we visited, played darts, and played pool. Overall, it was a wonderful night celebrating Torben. (PS: on Friday Torben finds out where his residency will be located...everyone pray for LaCrosse!) Check out these photos of our fun evening in LAX!
Here's the proof of the vegetarian allowing steak in her home!
The beautiful cake.
It's not looking so good for this heart.
Good thing Torben had a surgery rotation. He knew exactly what to do.
Tony got friendly with Fran.
Liv the pool shark.
It was nice to have both of us free to travel to LAX!
We do not like losing, but losing is what we did!
Friends forever!

Here you go, Harvey!
Harvey really only enjoys our blog if we post Luna picks, and it has really been a long time since I have. Sorry Harvey!
Luna has started to calm down quite a bit and turn into a snuggly little cat. However, if there's something shiny she will chase it like crazy!

She's not as crazy in this one....
She makes up for it in this one!
Just Dance Party!
Last weekend we have a great Knutson family weekend. We started off on Friday night with dinner out to Willow Hill. The entire Knutson clan was there. It was great to see Brian, Kate and Maya, since the last time we did was on Christmas. Of course, it was great to spend time with the Kasson Knutsons too!
Saturday we all gathered again at Laur and Jill's house for a craft day! We all worked on our various projects. After we were finished with that, we broke out the Wii Just Dance!

Laur wasn't too excited about trying Just Dance in front of everyone, so Grandma Jayne tried to entice her by trying it herself! She did great!
Maya had some playtime with Grandma Jayne
Natalie wanted to play too!
Brian's first attempt at Just Dance
Natalie and I took some photos while we were sneaking M&Ms at the bar!
